Bruce was 15 years old at the time of the murders. Hattiesburg was one of the most-deep South of deep South cities. As a young Jewish kid in this environment, Dr. Krell regularly faced violence by redneck cops, the White Knights and the United Klans of America.

His daily life was affected by these murders of his fellow Jews, Mickey Schwerner and Andy Goodman, and the murder of James Chaney, a Black man. As Sam Bowers, Imperial Wizard of the White Knights, wrote:

. . . the savage Kike lust for money is destroying Christian Civilization . . .

Violence levels increased against Blacks and Jews. Klansmen in the White Knights grew more arrogant that a white jury would never convict any Klansmen for murder of Blacks and Jews.

Dr. Krell is an independent forensic science expert who performs shooting incident reconstructions. He has evaluated over 100 shooting incidents and has testified in 10.
